Jefferson D. Brown

GALVESTON — Jefferson D. Brown, 87, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at his home in Galveston, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2007, at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas, with Deacon Robert Standridge of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Galveston, officiating. Burial will follow services Friday at the cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born January 23, 1920, in Campbell, Texas. He has been a longtime resident of Galveston for many years, working in paint and body shops in the automobile industry. Mr. Brown was a veteran of the United States Army Air Force serving his country proudly during WWII. He was honorably discharged December 12, 1945.

Mr. Brown is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Aurora Medina Brown of Galveston, Texas, other loving family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

Lovingly, Mr. Brown’s wish to be cremated was granted. This service has been provided under the direction of Broadway Funeral Home, Galveston.
