Jessie Lucille Steen, 71, 1121 N. Franklin St., Portland, died at her home Sunday afternoon following an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Steen was born Jan. 22, 1911, in Hunter, Ark., the daughter of Harvey and Ellen (Hardy) Lawson. She was married Aug. 5, 1926, to Albert Steen, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Harry Steen, Portland, and Dwain Steen, Albany; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Holcomb and Mrs. Harriet Spears, both of Portland; one sister, Mrs.fu Maizie Pearson, Attica; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, Portland, from 2-5 and 7-8 p.m. Tuesday. Prayer services will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Gibson officiating. Cremation will follow.
