ALTA LOMA-Funeral services for James Emmett Brantley, of 3126 Ave. J. will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Arcadia, the Rev. Paul Comer officiating. Burial will be in Grace Memorial Park in Alia Loma under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Mr. Brantley died Wedensday in the Clear Lake Hospital. He was born in Atlanta, Ga., and had lived in Alta Loma for 17 years. A former Galveston resident, he was an employee of Lipton Tea and a member of Firsl Baptist Church in Arcadia
and John Mitchell Lodge No. 1401, AF&AM of Hitchcock.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Harry Sherman of Atlanta, Ga.; four sons, J. L. Brantley of Arcadia, Franklin Brantley
of Alta Loma, Paul Brantley of Westwego, La., and James E. Brantley Jr. of Wimberley; a daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Burrows of Henderson; and 16 grandchildren.
