He retired in 1994 from Plant 3 of Delco Remy Division of General Motors after over 40 years of service.
He served his country in the Medical Corp of the US Army.
He was a Past Worthy President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #174 where he enjoyed an active membrership for 15 years. He also belonged to Loyal Order of Moose, Improved Order of Red Men, VFW, American Legion and was a life member of Amvets. He was also an avid collector of many things including music boxes, windchimes, clocks and various statues and canes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Ellen (Downey) Jones. Children: Barbara Dempsey & husband Larry, Kenny Jones Jr. & wife Vicki and Lisa Wills & husband Lyndon. Siblings: Janet Hoover, Iris Whiteaker, Donna Moore, Doris Brinkley and Sandra Stepp. Grandchildren: David Jones, Jennifer Mackey, Mandy Heavrin and Michael Wills. Five Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Several Nephews. Many special friends including: Frank & Doris Matthews.
