Sarah Jean Elsie Holmes, was born in Nassau in 1873 the daughter of Alfred Bertram Holmes and Mary Elizabeth Margaret Moore Holmes. She married Charles Eugene Albury the manager of a hardware store, at Trinity Wesleyan Church, Nassau, in June 1902. They had children Charles Eugene Lloyd Albury in 1904 and Winston Alonzo Earle Albury in 1905. Sarah Jean died of Cancer in Nassau in 1907. She is buried in the Western Cemetery, Nassau, New Providence District, Bahamas.
