Our Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend to many.

HITCHCOCK - Keith Brian Boyd, 39, received his call to eternal rest on Wednesday, April 4, 2006, at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas.

Keith better known as "K.B." was born November 2, 1966, in Galveston, Texas to Samuel C., Sr. and Dorothy Wagner Boyd. "K.B." was a 1985 graduate of Hitchcock High School excelling in basketball. He went on to further his education by attending Southern University in Baton Rouge and later Texas Southern University. He was a member of Height Masonic Lodge # 280 F&AM of Houston, Kappa Alpha Phi fraternity and Jerusalem Baptist Church. He was formerly an operator with Goodyear Refinery for 13 years and was presently employed with Air Liquide as a process operator.

Fond memories of "K.B." will linger in the hearts of his devoted parents, Samuel and Dorothy Boyd of Hitchcock; his brothers, Samuel C. "Chuck" Boyd, Jr. (Antoinette) of League City and Kelvin "K. Bee" Boyd (Yvette) of Friendswood; loving sister, Keesha Boyd of Hitchcock; nephews, Kelvin "K.J." Boyd and Samuel C. "Tre' " Boyd III; nieces, Kelscia, Samone, Sydnie and Gabrelle "Gabby" Boyd; uncles, Joseph Boyd of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, Clarence Wagner of Jeanerette, Louisiana, Wilton Wagner of Texas City, Alton Wagner of La Marque; aunts, Lula Eppson of Galveston, Charity Peterson of Houston, Genevieve Slaughter of Patoutville, Louisiana, Florida Williams of Jeanerette, Louisiana and Louise Phillips of Texas City; devoted friends, R.A. Maddox, Charles Thompson, Sidney Singleton, James Francis, Tony Gatlin, Chris Rogers and Don Weathersby and numerous other close friends. K B's loving spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2006, from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary with a wake service held from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Jerusalem B. C. (27th & Ball). The family is requesting for those individuals that wish to make remarks and tributes, that you come to the service so that you may have an opportunity to do so.

A service celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2006, also at the Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. A.S. Johnson, officiating. He will be laid to rest in Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock.
