Funeral services for Joyce Haley, age 92, of Downsville, LA , formally of Monroe, LA will be held 2: 00 PM Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA. Interment will follow at Mulhearn's Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
Joyce Haley was born on February 5, 1921 in Lucedale, MS and passed away to her heavenly home, surrounded by her family, on June 28, 2013 at the age of 92. Joyce was a current member of First Baptist Church in Farmerville and former member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Haley was a retired seamstress from Selig Manufacturing. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, making ornaments and jewelry out of beads, Nascar and Dale Jr.
Mrs. Haley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Haley, Sr. and parents Eugene Lamar Parker and Rebecca Miller Parker, along with all her older brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her only Son, Robert S. Haley Jr., and wife Dorothy. Granddaughters; Lynn Albritton and husband Ray. Jennifer Powell and partner John Salazar. Great -grandsons; Jamie Albritton and wife Mitzi, Jeremy Albritton and wife Bridgitte, Josh Powell, Jordan Powell along with Step grandchildren Austin, Ainsley and Zole Salazar. Great- Great granddaughters; Rylee, Kadence, and Haddie Albritton.
The family would like to give special thanks to Union General Hospital , Arbor Lake, LA Hospice, and special caregivers JoAnn Jones, and Jean Hendricks.
Pallbearers will be her Grandson.
