Mary Lou Glenewinkel
(June 25, 1928 - June 23, 2013)

Mary Louise (Mary Lou) Glenewinkel, age 84 of Kingsbury,TX, went to be with our Lord on June 23, 2013, two days before her 85th birthday. Mary Lou was devoted, dedicated, and determined to our Lord first and then to her husband, children, family, and friends. We will always remember and love her gentle way of steadfastly accomplishing projects for others without drawing attention to herself. Mary Lou was born on June 25, 1928, in Yoakum, Texas, to Andy Elias and Susan Ida Bettis Thompson. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry Paul Glenewinkel. Survivors include her children, Paula Springs and husband Riley Scott Springs, Jill Glenewinkel, Doug Glenewinkel, Ward Glenewinkel and Heidi Nereson and husband Ken Nereson; brothers and sisters, Jeff and Edna Thompson, Ellen Thompson, Pat and Dyron (deceased) Thompson and Aylene and Bill (deceased) Hartley; Martin Glenewinkel (deceased), Norman Glenewinkel (deceased), Elsie and Charles Wagener (both deceased), Cora and Edgar (deceased) Jahns, Angela and Bob Mack (both deceased), August and Lucile(deceased) Glenewinkel III, Anne and Harley Heinemeyer(both deceased), Elmer and Mary Lou Glenewinkel (both deceased) and Herman and Barbara Glenewinkel; grandchildren, Danna Dyess, Denae Buzbee and husband Trey Buzbee, Will Nereson, Quinn Nereson, Ryan Nereson; great grandson, Bayden Buzbee; step-grandchildren, Jason Springs (deceased), Jodi Pena and husband Andy, Jared Springs, Jana Jimenez and husband Erik; step great grand children, Kolin, Andy III, Kelcie, Drake, J'son and Peyton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Tres Hewell Mortuary, Seguin, TX, from 5 to 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday June 28, 2013, at 10:00am at Kingsbury Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:00 pm, Lone Oak Cemetery, Geronimo, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
