BARBARA A. HENRY, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born Jan. 3, 1929, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late, Albert L. and Velma F. Beekman. She was a member of St. Peter's and St. Joseph's Catholic Churches, Fort Wayne. Barbara received her degree and worked in interior design, and volunteered at Matthew 25. She is survived by her children, Charles M. (Patti) Henry III. of Garrett, Steven M. (Jewel) Henry of Punta Gorda, Fla., Christine M. Saul of Charlottesville, Va., Peter M. (Jean) Henry of Fort Wayne, and Nicholas M. (Jennifer) Henry of Spokane, Wash.; brother, Eugene A. Beekman of Phoenix, Ariz.; as well as 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 64 years, Charles M. Henry Jr., in 2012. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 518 E. Dewald St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, with rosary service at 7:30 p.m., at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne.
