Leslie Schultz-Cable, 70, of Olympia, passed away at her home April 1, 2012. She was born to Lawrence and Nedra Schultz on Aug. 13, 1942. She is survived by three children: Wendy (Steve) of Houston, Barbara (Stuart) of Marysville, Wash., and Don (Marilyn) of Tulsa, Okla. She is also survived by her brother and sister: Larry Schultz, of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Laurie Knopes of Clarkston. Shortly after graduating from Clarkston High, she started her career as a hairstylist, working in salons in Boise and Seattle. She retired from Eastern State Hospital in Spokane in 2006, and spent her retirement years traveling and spending time with her six grandchildren. She will be laid to rest July 7 in Snohomish, Wash., where family will gather to say goodbye to their "DeeDee." Woodlawn Cemetery is handling arrangements.
