Doyt “Jiggs” Durant
Hobbs, 85, of Mooresville
died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2005
at his home.
Born Nov. 10, 1919, Mr.
Hobbs was the son of the late
Gaither and Mary Hager
Hobbs. He was a truck driver
with McCall Chair Company
and was an auto mechanic.
Mr. Hobbs was married to
Ruby Mackey Hobbs, who
survives.
Other survivors include
two daughters, Phyllis Caldwell
and Jean Oliver, both of
Mooresville; five grandchildren,
Tracy Brewer, Scott
Caldwell, Shannon Ferguson,
Blake Keller and Lori Wright,
and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held
Monday, Aug. 15 at Rehobeth
United Methodist Church.
Burial followed in the church
cemetery.

may be made to Hospice
