Mrs. Frey was born in Washington, D.C., daughter of the late Kent and Pat Wightman and had been a resident of Westport for the past 35 years. She was a 1963 graduate of Staples High School and later graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H. She was a teacher at Greens Farms Preschool for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Westport Young Woman's League and Daughter of the American Revolution.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Frey was survived by two sons, Brad W. Frey of Boston and Brendan Frey of Westport; two daughters, Tracy F. Daly of West Hartford and Caitlin P. Frey of Westport; two brothers, Dr. Mark Wightman of Santa Fe, NJ and Scott Wightman of Weston and two grandchildren.
