Paula Thompson McDonald, 66, of Raleigh, MS, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Raleigh United Methodist Church in Raleigh, MS. Burial will be in North Raleigh Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh, MS is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Mrs. McDonald was a lifelong member of Raleigh United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Gamma Omega Sorority and a former member of the Raleigh Women's Club.

Preceded in death by: Parents: Paul D. and Mary Joe Currie Thompson.

Survivors Include: Husband: Jimmy McDonald, Raleigh, MS; Children: Stacey Swain (Anthony), Raleigh, MS, Eric McDonald, Raleigh, MS, Carla Canoy (Gary), Raleigh, MS; Grandchildren: Lace Canoy, Kodey Swain, Karley Swain, Kaley Swain, Tori McDonald, Mason Canoy, Layton McDonald; Great Grandchildren: Addison Swain, Kaegan Swain, and Jaydon Anderson.

Pallbearers: Dr. Mart Chandler, Edward Chisholm, Dub Sykes, Don Sykes, Greg McDonald, Kyle McDonald, Scott Corley, Tyler Morris, Sammy Bryant, David Hegwood, Heath Luper, Blake Powell, Brylen Powell, Danny Arender, and Stacy Craft; Honorary: Smith County Sheriff Department and the Raleigh Police Department.
