Joshua Micheal Perry, 7, of Jacksonville passed away Thursday at his residence. He was born Oct. 20, 2005 in Springfield, the son of Blake Michael and Kayla Marie McGee Perry.
Surviving is his father Blake of Jacksonville; grandparents, Delmer and Nancy McGee Sr.; Daniel and Jane Perry of Coatsburg; Belinda Robson of Jacksonville; great grandparents, Mary Beddingfield of Jacksonville, Don and Ruth Perry of Versailles, Judy Hibbs of Rushville; maternal aunts and uncles, Paul McGee of Ettrick, Wis., Bryan (Mendy) McGee of Jacksonville, John McGee of Bluffs, Anna (Gary) Brogdon of Jacksonville, Missy (Steve) Hopper of Jacksonville, Barbara (Kevin) Garnett of Winchester, Laura (Brandon) Mowen of Cadiz, KY; Justin (Deanna) McGee of Healy, KS, Rebecca McGee of Winchester, Sara McGee of Roxanna, Kim Warren of Roxanna, and Lance Blakey of Winchester; paternal aunts and uncles, Heather (Brian) Streit of Jacksonville, Eric Robson of Jacksonville, and Brad Krutmeier of Mt Sterling; and numerous cousins.
Joshua completed 1st grade at the Winchester Grade School. He was a member of the Winchester Little League. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburg Steelers and Jason Aldean fan. He loved spending time with his father.
Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Winchester with interment in the Gillham Cemetery near Winchester . Visitation will be Sunday after 2:00 p.m. with the family meeting friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the 1st National Bank of Winchester or the Daws Family Funeral Home, the Winchester Public Library, or Winchester Little League.
