Mr. Waters was a member of Bible Fellowship Church and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1980. He served his country in the 41st Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. He fought in the New Guinea and Philippines campaigns and was part of the Occupational Forces during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 15.
