Leo J. Schneider, 46, of Route 4, Chilton, died Friday, November 16, following an apparent heart attack at his home.

He was born October 28, 1933 in Stockbridge, a son of Jacob and Veronica Schmidt Schneider. On May 19, 1962 he married Alice Stenz at Stockbridge. He was employed by the Tecumseh Products Co. of New Holstein for the past 21 years.

Mr. Schneider was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church of Charlestown and the Chilton Eagles Aerie 1288.

Survivors are his wife; his mother, of Chilton; one son, Tony, at home; three sisters, Mrs. George Rahmer and Mrs. Ronald Preisner, both of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Melvin Lisowe of Route 3, Chilton; seven brothers, Eugene, Harold and Gordon, all of Chilton, Clarence of Route 4, Chilton, William of Fond du Lac, Frederick of Sawyer AFB, Mich., and Alvin of Route 2, Chilton.

He was preceded in death by his father, one son, one sister and two brothers.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Martin Church by the Rev. William Eberhardy, pastor. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
