OTTER RIVER Section of Baldwinville - Evelyn C. Leger, 87 of 162 State Road, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at home. She was born in Leominster on September 8, 1919, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Rose (Lafleur) Lemoine. Evelyn lived in Otter River for forty years. She worked as a Seamstress for Cluet Peabody for many years. She was a member of the St. Martin's Ladies Guild and St. Martin's Church in Otter River, the Montachusett Organ Society, and was a former member of St. Cecelia's Church. Her hobbies included crafts, sewing, cooking and gardening. Evelyn was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family. She leaves one daughter; Shelia Severens and her husband Martin of Lunenburg, two brothers; Wilfred Lemoine of Leominster and Everett Lemoine of Nashua, NH, one granddaughter; Keli Barnett and her husband Daniel of Bedford, NH and two great granddaughters; Lyndsie Barnett and Kristen Barnett of Bedford, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster.
