Timothy Lynn "Tim" Weaver, 58, Altoona, died Wednesday at Altoona Regional.

He was born in Altoona, son of Paul F. Weaver and the late Janet M. (Ferguson) Weaver.

Surviving are his father of Altoona; a sister, Janet M. Myers and her husband, Jean-Michel Guldmann; a sister, Cheryl A. Hatch and her husband, Dennis; companion, Alice Fyock; two nieces: Jill Houser (Matt) and Carlie Hatch (Gordon Trexler); two nephews: Michael Myers (Angela) and Patrick Myers (Cassandra); eight great-nephews; several aunts and uncles; and special friends, Denny and Janie Roland.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet.

Tim was a graduate of Altoona Area High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Tim was employed as a machinist at Norfolk Southern. He was a member of Hiram Lodge No. 616 F&AM, Jaffa Shrine, where he was a member of Jaffa Calliope Clowns and was known to all as "Chet" the clown, Swiss Rifle Club, Unter Uns Society, Bavarian Aid Society, Cesare Battisti Club and Juniata VFW.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a Masonic funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard N. Henry Jr. officiating.

Interment will be made at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
