A. L. Hazelwood, age 86, of Newport passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Newport Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ethel and Andy Hazelwood and three brothers and 6 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Bogle Hazelwood of Newport; daughters Ann (David) Tritt of Newport, Kay (Terry) Dover of Newport; son Jeff (Lisa) Hazelwood of Newport; brother and sister-in-laws Jim (Jewelene) Travis and Billye Ruth Travis; grandchildren Lori (Scott) Deering, Andy (Holly) Tritt, Alan (Samantha) Dover, Travis (Sarah) Hazelwood, Sydney Hazelwood; great grandchildren Kevin Deering, Alex Deering and Kellen Dover; several nieces and nephews and very special friend Dr. Thomas Conway.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Union Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Young and Rev. Jeff Davis officiating.
