R. E. Galloway, retired farmer, died at his home, 1519 Forrest Avenue, at 6:45 o'clock last night. He was 70 years old.
A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Galloway had resided in that section until 15 years ago when he moved to Nashville. He was a member of the Associate Reform Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by how wife, Mrs. Dollie Puckett Galloway and the following sons, Dr. Roy E. Galloway of Columbia, Tennessee, and Dr. R. K. Galloway of Louisville, Kentucky. A brother, J. A. Galloway of Huntsville, Alabama also survives.
Funeral services will be held at the Associate Reform Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, Tennessee, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Pallbearers will be deacons of the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
