Major Lee R. Hartman, Jr., USAF Ret., piloted his last flight, Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He served his country honorably in the Vietnam War, and retired with over 20 years of service in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie Mae Hartman and his sister, Joyce. He is survived by his 7 children, Barbara & Jerry Thompson, Annette & Peter Chiste, Carol & Floyd Ward, Donna & Ken Kimich, Teresa Harris, Patricia & Glenn Robinson, and Michael & Paula Hartman; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Louis, Mary, Harvey, Frankie, Patricia, Benny, and their families; numerous nieces & nephews; & many other relatives & friends. Visitation, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, Tx. Rite of Committal, 2:00 p.m., the same day, at Houston National Cemetery. Donations may be made to National Parkinson's Foundation at www.parkinson.org
