Eric Andrew Acker, age 32, of Evansville, IN, died 4:04 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Deaconess Hospital.

Eric Andrew Acker was a member of the Evansville Masonic Lodge No. 64 and the Hadi Shrine Temple. He worked at the Veterans Coliseum as a maintenance foreman and CCW "Commish."

He is survived by his wife of seven years, Kami (Fetcher) Acker; his parents, Mark and Marcia (Vaught) Acker; daughters, Chelsea L. Acker and Savannah M. Acker; stepdaughters, Ericka Schmitt and Haylee Schmitt; stepson, Alex Vidal; brother, Brian Acker; grandparents, Margaret Ramsey of Evansville and Dale Eugene and Ida Vaught of Haubstadt, IN; niece, Jakayla Acker; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Shannon Acker, in November 1984, and grandparents, Thomas J. and Nell L. Acker.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2005, at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave., with Reverend Mike Kough officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, and 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005, at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 7 2005, by Evansville Masonic Lodge No. 64.
