"Skinny" died as a result of a motorcycle accident along with his fiancee. He was the son of Philip and Romayne (Kessler) Larson. He spent his early life in Burlington and was a graduate of Burlington High School.

Scott served in the United States Army. He worked as a Small Engine Specialist for Magneto Power of Mequon. He was a member of the Wisconsin Illinois VTX Motorcycle Owner's Club and was anticipating his upcoming marriage to Kerry Field on July 15, 2005. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle rides and the outdoors.

He was survivied by his parents, sons, sisters, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
