MADISON HEIGHTS — Erma Duff Hudson, 88, died Nov. 7, 1998 at The Carrington of Lynchburg. She was the widow of the late Thomas Clayton Hudson. Born Oct. 11, 1910 in Greene County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard J. and Emma Duff. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Lorine H. Bacher of Cincinnati, Ohio; one grandson, five brothers and one sister. Mrs. Hudson was retired from Central Virginia Training Center, a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lydia H. Gallier and her husband, Oscar F. Gallier Jr. of Amherst; one son, Thomas C. Hudson Jr. of Madison Heights; son-in-law, Donald L. Bacher of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Bradie B. Gibson of Madison Heights, Mrs. Vola F. Wright of Monroe; one brother, Arthur L. Duff of Monroe, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998 in Driskill Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jerry Falwell officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Lynchburg. Family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at Driskill Funeral Chapel
