Marla C. Cook, 54, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at OSU Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Marla was born on March 1, 1959, in Mansfield, to Conrad D. and Esther M. Pasco Cook. She was employed for over 18 years with Mansfield City School System. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, painting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Candace (Timothy) Watterson of Mansfield, Ben Holmes of San Diego, CA, and Carole (Adam) Levering of Cardington; her significant other, Richard Carmichael; six grandchildren; her mother, Esther Cook of Mansfield; three siblings, Phillip Cook and Susan (Jim) Chelski both of Mansfield, and David (Kim) Cook of GA, and several nieces and nephews.
Marla was preceded in death by her father.
Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2013, with Rev. Gary Proietti. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
