William "Will" A. Kendrick was a noted Texas artist, and he had a studio in Waco. He was also known for carving special frames for his paintings.

An exhibition of some paintings by William A. Kendrick and sculptures by Richard Hamorszky was held during May and June of 2014 at the Art Center of Waco. There was an article about this exhibition on p. 82 in the May 2014 issue of Waco Today, a publication of the Waco Tribune-Herald.
