Jennings: It's with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family and friends of Linda Quebodeaux McNeal announces her unexpected passing on June 27, 2013 while in the comfort of her home in Iota, LA. She was 49. Funeral services honoring Linda's life will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10 AM. Linda will be laid to eternal rest in St. Joseph Cemetery following her services. Father David Broussard will officiate.
Linda was born in Gueydan, LA to the late Joseph Lege and the late Marjorie Andrus Lege on September 17, 1963. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. Linda enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She also was an animal lover and loved her cats dearly.
Linda is survived by her husband, James Carl McNeal of Iota; two sons, Travis Quebodeaux of Rayne and Joe Quebodeaux of Lafayette; one step daughter, Brandy Roy of Iota; and her two beautiful grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Monday, July 1st from 10:30 AM until 9 PM with a rosary recited by Mrs. Betty LeGros at 6 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Tuesday, July 2nd at 8 AM until the time of her funeral services.
