EDDIE SWANSON
ATLANTA. MO. — Graveside services for Eddie Swanson , 62, of Atlanta were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Mt. Tabor cemetery east of here. The Rev. Kenneth Lockard officiated.
Mr. Swanson was found dead Friday (March 28. 1969 ) about 5 p.m. after fire destroyed his home. A construction worker, he lived alone and firemen said the blaze was believed to have started in his bed. where he was smoking.
Mr. Swanson was born in Macon County in February, 1907, a son of Anton and Anna Marie Neilsen Swanson. His father died several years ago and his mother died Jan. 4, 1969. He was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Howard Everson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Louise
Steward of Columbia, Mrs. Ray Morrow of La Plata, Mrs. Paul Wilcox of Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Kenneth Thompson of Macon.
