Jean grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Theodore M. and June E. (Fitzgerald) Howard.
Jean was married to the late Harold S. Bosworth in 1944, and settled in Dartmouth, Mass. where they spent most of the next three decades. Together they were the parents of six children - four daughters and two sons.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Also, she is survived by a sister, Thea C. Howard and a brother, Joseph P. Howard.
She was the mother-in-law of the late Duarte M.A. Andrade and great-grandmother of the late Lucas E. Andrade.
