GARDNER - Mrs. Clara E. GARDNER, wife of Charles H. GARDNER, passed away Monday, January 10, 1938, at their home in Farmington. Besides the husband, she leaves a son, Charles R. GARDNER; a daughter, Mrs. Grace L. GREENE; five granddaughters; three grandsons, a great grand daughter and a great grandson. Funeral services were held at the home and at the Friends Church in Farmington, Thursday afternoon.

The death of Mrs. Ella E. Gardner, wife of Charles H. Gardner of Farmington, occurred at the home on Monday morning, following an attack of heart trouble, with which she was stricken just before Christmas. The deceased had been active, interested in and able to attend community affairs up until the last. The survivors are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Grace L. Greene; one son, Charles R. Gardner, all of Farmington; five granddaughters and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held from her late home at 2 o'clock and from Friends Church at 2:30 on Thursday afternoon. The remains will be interred in the North Farmington Cemetery.
