Mrs Sallie M Bookhardt Elkin, the widow of the late Rev William B Elkin of the Baptist denomination, died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon of pneumonia. Her death occurred at the residence of her niece, Mrs C G Elkin, 1118 Lumber Street. Mrs Elkin was 65 years of age.

The funeral services will be conducted at the residence at 9 o'clock this morning. The burial will be at Mr William Ruff's plantation near Blythewood. The funeral party will drive through the country, leaving the city about 9:30 am and reaching the burial ground about 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

Mrs Elkin is survived by two brothers, Dr Bookhardt of Blythewood and Mr David Bookhardt of Orangeburg, and a niece, Mrs Fannie Brown of Cross Hill.
