John Michael Drayton, age 26, of Atlanta Ga., formerly of the Plantersville Community of Georgetown died on Saturday June 15, 2013, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
He was the son of Frankie L. Drayton of Houston, Texas, and Angela Guillory of Shreveport, La.
Mr. Drayton was the grandson of the late Mr. Robert Drayton Sr. and the late Mrs. Ethel Drayton of the Planterville community of Georgetown.
He was survived by both of his parents, Frankie L. Drayton of Houston, Texas and Angela Guillory of Shreveport, La.; a son, Mr. Jaysen Drayton of Orangeburg, S.C.; two sisters, Deshantell M. Lance and Cherise M. Gamble, both of Columbia, S.C.; three brothers, Justin Gullory, Alexander Guillory, and Cordarro Guillory, all of Vermont, Texas; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, June 22, 2013, at St Paul A.M.E. Church in the Plantersville community. The Rev. Rubin Smalls, pastor, officiated. Burial, directed by Linen Knox Funeral Home, followed in the church cemetery.
