Jim was a great guy. He was a little goofy because of a brain aneurism that almost killed him, but that was Jim. He loved his family and though doctors told him and his family that he would be a vegatable the rest of his life, he came back and was able to drive and to take care of his family. Jim was an avid reader and always had a paperback in his back pocket. Due to his medication that allowed him to function and even drive, he had to consume large quantities of coffee daily to keep himself awake. He supported his family the best that he could and raised 3 wonderful children and had a wonderful wife, Barbara. Tragically, his eldest son died from the same genetic brain aneurism that almost took his life. Poor Jim even discovered his son Brian's body when he went to pick him up from work. Jim liked going to Friendly's and other restaurants for coffee and we became fast friends. Jim is sorely missed and I wrote this so that you could get a glimpse of the man behind the stone.
Jim is survived by wife Barbara, daughter Brenda and son Sean. He was preceded in death by his son Brian.
Jim, Ted and I raise our coffee mugs to you in salute.
