Mrs. Barbara Elaine Wagner Heath Richmond departed this life Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Richmond was born in Mt. City, TN on July 14, 1937, to the late Till and Goldie Wagner. She lived in Bristol for the last 60 years and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Bristol, Va. Mrs. Richmond was preceded in death by husbands, Joe Louis Heath and Lorenzo R. Richmond; and infant son, Michael Joseph Heath. Mrs. Richmond is survived by her sons, Jeffery L. (Kim), Ronald A. (Syrilda), Marlon Craig, and Eric L. Heath; daughter, Ton-ya Heath Lockett all of Bristol; sister, Ruby L. Widby, Stateville, N.C.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends at the home of Ronald Heath, 103 Celebrity Ct, Bristol, Va. Funeral services for Mrs. Richmond will be conducted from New Hope Baptist Church on Friday, June 28, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. William J. Reid, officiating. Interment will follow at VA Cemetery, Johnson City, Tenn. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church.
