Mr. Ryan Thomas Thompson of Summersville, Kentucky, son of Myrna Jane Henderson Thompson Quisenberry of Greensburg and the late William Thomas Thompson, was born on July 31, 1978 in Taylor County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was 34 years, 10 months, and 25 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a employee for Amazon.com.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his step-father: Gary Quisenberry of Greensburg; one son and three daughters: Taylor Bryce Thompson, Alyssa Brianne Thompson, Gracie Elizabeth Thompson, and Laura McCubbins all of Greensburg; Grandparents: Bernice Thompson, William and Annabelle Henderson all of Greensburg; a brother and sister-in-law: Dale and Alyson Thompson of Greensburg; step-sisters: Heather Brown of Indiana and Hollie Quisenberry of California; a nephew: Payton Thompson of Greensburg; a special friend: Heather Farmer of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Ryan was also preceded in death by a son: Matthew Thomas Thompson; and a brother: Michael Thomas Thompson.

The funeral services for Mr. Ryan Thomas Thompson will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Joe Milby, Bro. Irvin Milby, and Bro. Robert Knight will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4 until 9 P.M., Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Saturday until time of the funeral service.

Memorials are suggested to the Kosair Children's Hospital or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
