Services celebrating the life of Teresa "Terry" Bordelon Cole will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Tommy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family asks that visitation be observed Friday, June 28, 2013 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Mrs. Cole, a native of Pineville (resident of Houma), passed from this life on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at her residence.
Terry's memory will live on in the hearts and minds of family and friends that knew and loved her and will be remembered with a smile on their faces, knowing, she did things her way. Until they meet again, she will be forever missed and loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Cole of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; infant daughter, Vivian Bordelon; parents, Philmore and Eunice Lemoine Bordelon of Pineville; brothers, John "Bubba" and James Edward Bordelon; sister in law, Margarite Bordelon and a brother in law, John Davis all of Pineville.
Those left to cherish her memory include , sons, Irving "Ray" Yates (Becky Gascamp) of Roopville, Georgia, Alvin Yates (Arlene Yates) of Houma; daughter, Jane Ogden of Houma; sisters, Rosie Davis and Gloria Himel (Earl Himel) all of Houma; 7 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 9 great granddaughters, 7 great grandsons, 1 great-great grandson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Ray Yates, Alvin Yates, Jaymon Yates, Shane Ogden, Xavier Rosario and David Allen Bordelon.
The family wishes to thank family, friends, neighbors Kim Richard and Dorothy LeBouef and the medical staff at Haydel Memorial Hospice, for all of their tender loving care for Terry during her time of need.
