George A. Young, 91, of Williams Township, formerly of Palmer Township, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Abington Manor. Born: August 16, 1921 in Freemansburg, PA, he was the son of the late George and Beulah Mae Miller Young. Personal: His wife of 63 years, the former Helen Hoag, died January 27, 2008. George retired from the former Bethlehem Steel where he was employed for 42 years. He served in the Army during World War II. George enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry and electrical work. Survivors: A son, Timothy G., of New York City; two brothers, Victor, of Forks Township and John, of Effort, PA; two sisters, Marilyn Smith, of Panama City, FL and Marjorie Schlough, of Palmer Township; and a grandson, Adam Young. He was predeceased by a son, Michael G. in 1996, and a brother, Richard.
