Ocean City—Richard Bruce Willett, adored husband of Kathleen Willet, age 68, passed away on June 22, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Thomas E. Willett and Katherine Gerstmeyer Willett. He was the beloved father of Don Willett and his wife Kristine, Matthew Ward, and daughters: Tracey Montgomery and Erin Sullivan and her husband Stephen. He was loving grandfather to four granddaughters; Bethany, Kayla, Thea, and Ellie, and one great-grandson, Connor. Also surviving is a sister Joan Willett, and father-in-law Herman Ruth, Jr. He was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Willett.

Mr. Willett had worked as a program analyst for Noxell. He was handy with tools and would fix anything for anybody. He was an avid fisherman, and loved to travel and go to the casinos. In his spare time he enjoyed shopping for knick-knacks and household items. Richard Willett is an irreplaceable man and will be missed tremendously.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 26, at the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin at 2:00 PM. Friends may call from 11:00AM until 2:00 PM.
