Discharged from Army, Jumps to Death
LYNCHBURG, Oct 8 - (AP) - The body of Arthur Livingston Franklin, 26, who had received a medical discharge from the army, was found yesterday afternoon under a 150-foot trestle in the James River, Captain L.D. Staton of the life savings crew reported.
Captain Staton said Franklin umped from the washroom window of a train as it crossed the bridge. The badly broken body was in 15 feet of water.
