Those of us who were living here at about the time the Gordon School was built, will remember Mr. Lockhart Bibb who was principal of that institution. After he left here, he taught in many places finally landing in Paris, Texas, where he died on the 30th of last month. He was interred at Belle Mina in the family burial ground. He leaves a widow and five children.
