Karen enjoyed meeting with her knitting group, gardening, cooking big meals for all who entered her home, traveling, and taking care of her beautiful flowers. Having family at her home and watching her great-grandchildren laugh and play brought her true joy.
Karen was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Daniel; mom of Randy Daniel and Michelle Schlappi-Thelen (Derrick); grandma of Heather Badder (Gene), Amber Schlappi Bloss (Josh), and Nicholas Daniel (Amber); great-grandma of Brylee, Travis, Claire, Cameron, and Bayli; special friend of Max Mills.
A Celebration of Life is planned for 11am on February 17th at the Ithaca Community Center, 120 N. Maple St, Ithaca.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karen’s name to the Ann Arbor Mennonite Guest Home for their hospitality to outpatients and families of the University of Michigan Health System. Mennonite Guest Home, 2000 Dhu Varren Rd, Ann Arbor MI 48105
