For ten years Amber worked as a Preschool Minister for the First Baptist Church of Abilene. She loved the children and enjoyed the friends she made there. She also worked as a site manager for the Cross Plains Senior Citizens Center for a few years. Recently she was able to do her favorite job which was to work with her husband and son in their family car business. Amber was a loving and caring mother who truly enjoyed helping others in any way she could.
Surviving Amber are her husband, Bubba Thomas, sons; Justin and Hunter Thomas, a daughter Shelby Thomas, her father Larry McBeth, a brother Jon Christopher McBeth, and a sister Sara McBeth, as well as many aunts, uncles, step siblings, extended family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanine Wharton.∼Amber McBeth Thomas, 40 of Baird, passed away in a motor vehicle accident on April 10, 2013
