Donald Bone, 74, of Hubbard Lake, Michigan, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.

Donald was born in Warren, Michigan January 9, 1939 to the late William Bone and Violet (Brake) Bone, and on August 31, 1960 he married the former Kay Schuman. She preceded him in death on November 11, 2007. Donald served in the U.S. Air Force until retiring in 1980.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, the Masonic Lodge for 40 years, Ham Radio operator, Hubbard Lake Citizens Watch, and Hubbard Lake Sportsmen Club.

Surviving were 2 children, Robert (Karen) of Indiana, Carol (Bruce) Fifield of Hubbard Lake; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Myrna (John) Welty of Hubbard Lake; 1 brother, Larry (Donna) Bone of Warren; sister-in-law, Cleo Bone; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were 3 children, Richard, William and Dona Kay; 1 brother, Harley Bone; and 2 sisters, Alice Bone and Delsie Bone.
