Charles A. Marti was the son of Jacob Marti and Anna Margaretha (Fritz).

"Miss Sadie Marti, 711 John street, received a telegram this morning from Albion, Mich. [sic], notifying her of the death of her brother, Charles A. Marti. No particulars were included in the message but a letter will probably be received soon giving the family further information. The deceased was about 39 years of age and until 13 years ago was a resident of this city. He leaves a mother residing in Clarksville, and two sisters and six brothers residing here. "Albion Farmer Dies.

ALBION, Wash., Saturday, May 7 - Charles A. Marti dropped dead in his chair while reading a magazine in a local drug store here on Wednesday. He was 39 years old and unmarried. He was deputy organizer of the state grange and for 10 years past had been a prominent farmer of this section." Published in the Seattle (WA) Daily Times, Sunday, 8 May 1904, pg. 13, column 3.
