Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA, for Mrs. Edmonia Melancon, 51, who entered eternal rest, Thursday, June 20, 2013 at her residence in Opelousas, LA.
Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Mrs. Melancon is survived by her husband of 33 years Mr. Paul Melancon, Sr.; one son Paul (Kathleen) Melancon, Jr.; two daughters Latasha (Erik) Amos and Gwendolyn Melancon; father Henry Amos, Sr.; two brothers Henry Amos, Jr. and Joseph Danny Amos; three sisters Linda (Paul) Jordan, Cynthia (Leo) Amos, and Connie (David) Amos, 2 grandchildren.
Mrs. Melancon was preceded in death by her mother Euralee Amos and a sister Gwendolyn Amos.
