Mr. Hall was a member of Gateway Baptist Church. He retired from farming, was a textile worker, and later operated the Darie Dreme.
Surviving are his children, Bobby D. Hall (Peggy) of Spartanburg, SC, and Marilyn Gosnell (Bobby) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Kimberly Smith (Russ), Angela Smith (Rodney), Amelia Wilson (Steve), Lacy Hedden (Kirk), and Julie Cook (Bruce); 12 great-grandchildren, Sarah Walker, Lindsay Wilson, Alaina Smith, Jordan Wilson, Branson Cook, John Edward Cook, Clara Wilson, Daniel Hedden, Rachel Hedden, Lily Cook, Jackson Smith, and Bryson Smith; one great-great-granddaughter, Lillian Edelen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by a son, Wesley Hall; six brothers, four sisters; and great-grandson, Noah Wilson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Ray Stuart. Visitation will follow at the Chapel. Entombment will be private.
The family is at their respective homes.
