STANFORDVILLE - Mark V. Still, 57, of Stanfordville died suddenly on Saturday, October 20 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Sharon, Ct. on June 29, 1955, he was the son of the late Charles N. Still, Sr. and Evelina Tirante. Mark was a graduate of Millbrook High School, Class of 1973 and earned a Degree in Business from SUNY Delhi and attended SUNY Oswego. Along with his brothers Charles and Joseph Still, he owned and operated Charles N. Still and Sons, Inc. of Millbrook which was founded by his father. On June 26, 2002 in Ontario, Canada, he married Alice Schnierer. Mrs Still survives at home. Mark was a member of Poughkeepsie Yacht Club, where he was a past Commodore. He enjoyed boating, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and loved to tinker with anything mechanical, especially old cars. In addition to his wife Alice, he is survived by his daughter, Hope Still of Dover Plains; his son, P.J. Roosa of Millbrook; his grandson, Dylan Roosa of Hyde Park; his brothers, Charles Still, Jr., and Joseph Still, both of Millbrook; his former wife, JoAnn Fuller Ehret of Dover Plains; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Speare, Heather Dyer, and CJ, David and Matthew Still. He was predeceased by his son, Christopher Still.
