Last Rites to Be Held Wednesday For Mrs. Chapman
Last rites for Mrs. Carolyn Wambsgan Chapman of 835 West Onondaga Street, wife of Edward D. Chapman, former United States commissioner, who died Sunday, will be conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Greenleaf funeral home by the Rev. Dean E. Richardson, with burial in Weedsport Cemetery. A native of Syracuse, she lived in Baldwinsville from 1905 to 1938, when she returned here. A charter member of Erwin Methodist Church, she was a past noble grand president of Waneta Rebekah Lodge 175, I. O. O. F., of Baldwinsville. She was a past district deputy grand president of Onondaga District 2, I. O. F., and a member of the Past Noble Grand Presidents Association and Past District Deputies Association. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alma Becker Ellis; a niece, Mrs. Edson G. Mosher, and a nephew, Elmer Wambsgan of Binghamton.
