Rev. Travis Harris, Sr., 65, of Beaumont passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with burial at Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home. Visitation, 12 noon - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mercy Funeral Home; 9-11 a.m. at the church on Wednesday. Survivors are: wife, Denise Harris of Beaumont; Parents, Freddie and Dorothy Harris of West Columbia, TX; three sons, Travis Harris, Jr. of Houston, Duaine Harris, Sr., and Terrance Harris of Beaumont; one daughter, Fernzelle Harris of Beaumont; two brothers, Freddie Harris, Jr. of West Columbia, TX and Marvin Harris of Houston; one sister, Bertha St. John of Houston; (10) grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
