SYLVIA A. DUCHOW
Sylvia A. Duchow, age 88, formerly of Valders, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at the Chilton Care Center surrounded by her family.
Sylvia was born Feb. 3, 1921, in Valders, daughter of the late Gustav and Anna (Holdorf) Roeseler. She married Willard Duchow on June 16, 1948, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2008. Sylvia farmed with her husband Willard in the town of Eaton until their retirement. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and crocheting, and she loved her cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers-in-law, Adolph (Eleanor) Duchow, and Harvey Duchow.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2009, at 2 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. The Rev. Robert Hankwitz will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home of Reedsville is assisting the family.
